About Us The aesthetic aspects of life have always intrigued Victoria McKenney whether it is the simple lines of a flower or the intricate details of architecture. Her love of art and design began with a trip to Europe where she became aware of the beauty and history of its culture. Upon returning home to Vancouver, she began her education at the University of British Columbia where she pursued and completed an honors degree in Art History in 2001. Again Victoria returned to Europe; spending time exploring Italy and France where she was profoundly influenced by their such varied history and architecture. The European inspiration was the catalyst to further her education in art and design. Victoria then pursued interior design in the Interior Design Program at Vancouver Community College, and graduated in 2004. While completing her design certificate, Victoria worked on a select few clients homes ranging from simple color consultations to complete bathroom renovations; Enviable Designs was the natural evolution. In 2003, Victoria officially opened her own company Enviable Designs which offers primarily residential interior design services. The company is based out of a retail store in Kerrisdale where a display suite is set up for clients to realize a snapshot of Victoria's style. Enviable Designs continues to grow and offer a wider array of services with every new year. |
